The administrative staff is available to help with student needs that arise during the program. If the need for further in depth assistance arises, the staff is aware of the community resources and can make a referral to appropriate organizations or agencies that can assist them. The school does not offer student housing, but can assist out of town students with locating housing.

Academic progress will be reviewed at completion of 250, 500, & 750 hours of the course. If additional help is needed upon review of academic progress then assistance will be provided on an as needed basis.

Leon Studio One School of Hair Design understands that every student has different career goals and our commitment is to help each graduate realize that proper environment for them. Although the school cannot guarantee employment, we will use our reputation and relationships with area salons to guide you to the appropriate steps in order for you to reach your career goals. We also offer lifetime job-search assistance.

Satisfactory progress in academic performance and attendance is required to continue as a student in good standing.

A+ = 95 to 100
A = 90 to 94
B+ = 85 to 89
B = 80 to 84
C+ = 75 to 79
C = 70 to 74
D = 65 to 69
F = below 65

Students are graded monthly according to the results of written and practical examinations. Practical evaluation takes into consideration performance and production. These grades are recorded on Progress Reports which are computed monthly.
To remain in good standing, a student must maintain at least a "70 percent" average and complete the course in the designated time frame. A student who falls below a "70 percent" average will have a conference with the school administrator before continuing the course.
Any student failing to maintain at least a "70 percent" average in the academic and practical segments is subject to probation. During probation the students performance will be monitored and additional academic assistance will be given in an effort to assist the student. To be removed from probation, the student must correct the deficiency which caused the probation and must do so before the next evaluation period.
Evaluations will be conducted at 250, 500, & 750 hours of scheduled attendance. Beyond 900 hours, evaluations will be conducted monthly. Failure to improve during a probationary period will subject the student to dismissal.
