Welcome to the start of the most exciting and rewarding profession in the world!
Believe it or not, every successful hairdresser including the legendary Vidal Sasson, Paul Mitchell, Leland Hirsch, and Michael  Mazzei began just as you are about to. There is no such thing as natural talent. No one is born with the skills to be a successful hairdresser.
First and foremost you need to be passionate and dedicated, with a sincere desire to be the very best you can be. Without that you can never expect to make any of your dreams a reality, no matter what career path you choose. That is your commitment.
Our commitment is to provide you with the highest quality education available, and to give you the relevant technical and professional skills to be successful. Our state of the art facility will offer a positive, creative and fun learning environment. All of our expertly trained instructors will help cultivate each student's individual growth.
As a working hairdresser, salon owner, educator and international platform artist, I have shared our philosophy and techniques with thousands of hairdressers throughout the United States and Europe.
It has always been my dream to bring this world-class education to Western New York. I feel honored and privileged that you have chosen our school to begin your career.
Good luck,

Sincerest Professional Regards,
Leon Tringali

As a hairdresser owned school, we are dedicated to continuous education, developing new, innovative, creative and more functional methods to prepare our students for a rewarding and profitable entry into the beauty business. Our goal is to continually upgrade and enhance the image of the beauty industry and to graduate dedicated, passionate and motivated professionals with the relevant and current skills needed to fill the positions in salons.

Given the necessary supplies, equipment, motivation and direction, the program is designed to educate and prepare each student for entry into the beauty industry. Our program is also written to ensure that every student will receive the necessary personalized attention so that all of our students can grow at their own rate. This program will prepare each and every student to successfully pass the N.Y.S. Board examination. In addition, students will learn the relevant skills of today with an emphasis on cutting, coloring, foil highlighting, professional ethics and conduct.

Leon Studio One School of Hair Design is a modern climate controlled facility designed with today's student in mind. There are separate educational classrooms for each level of instruction. Additionally the school has a separate tiered theory room for class and special events. A student lounge compliments the busy lifestyle of today's working students. The school has an open industrial feel geared toward a modern higher education facility with a salon like setting. We utilize natural day lighting to add to the upscale image.
